Anthony Hedges: The Complete Piano Music, Vol. 1 (Divine Art)
I am very excited to announce my upcoming debut album to be released on Divine Art in early 2026! This will be the first of a projected three-volume set of the complete piano music of Anthony Hedges (1931-2019). Hegdes was a prolific composer in all genres, as well as a lecturer, critic, pianist, publisher, writer, teacher and conductor. During his long tenure at Hull University and beyond, he made Beverley his home: the town in which I grew up. During the lockdown of 2020, I delved into his piano works, and was determined to give this fantastic music the wider acclaim and exposure that it richly deserves.
